@JLDJUK Haha thanx for the advise. No i know it sounds crazy what I said. I’ve been djing and mixing songs for almost 6 years on computer softwares. And I’m now old enough to start djing at places. So I’m just looking for something to take with instead of just using my laptop and a mouse you know. But people say its not pro but what is the difference? Because it matters about how you DJ and pleasing the crowd. Is it the sound that it produces? Will it be so bad that people will leave the place?

@ocelleris Firstly you can’t just buy this and jump into a club. It takes years and years of practice first. Also this isn’t really pro gear its very much amateur. Its a good place to start if you are a complete novice. I can highly it recommend it for beginners.

I have a question. Let’s say you buy Mixtrack Pro for home use and yopu get used to djing with it, without using the sync button, like real dj’s do. And one day, you have the opportunity to mix in a club on professional gear, like Pioneer DJM 800 or 1000 and CDJs 1000. How hard will the transition be? Can you rely on your experience with the Mixtrack Pro or will you have some issues in making the transition to pro gear?

I’m a complete novice to djing and i’m looking to buy a console like this (can’t afford a pair of pioneer cdjs!), which one would you recommend? i’ve seen other products such as the hercules steel/mk4. Also are there any extras needed, i’ve seen comments saying you need a soundcard and if so how would you set it up? can you not just plug it into your pc and go? Many thanks!!!

In tracktor i can use 3 effects, for deck, does the 3 things up to the loops are the 6 effects???
@dugreemer Yeah, that’s what I’m trying to avoid. So I was wondering if I was able to use mixtrack pro(synced with vdj) with traktor! Doesn’t matter which traktor, I just feel more comfortable, and more in control when spinning..
@FR4NK1E420 ahh ya that happended to my freind with his mixer. they do it so i guess u cant do gigs with the software and make money from them. try disconnecting the internet on your computer or u mite hav to downlaod vdj from pirate bay. unless u wanna fork out over a hundred bucks.

@dugreemer Yeah that’s what I have. but when I access it with my mixtrack pro connected, a window pops up saying that the mixer will only be active for 10minutes..
@Rickardanderssen Unless they are active speakers, you will need to use an amplifier. It will work (providing you have the right cable adaptor) with computer speakers etc, you don’t need to use PA speakers.
@FR4NK1E420 u can legally downlaod the home version of vdj i think thats better the LE version.
Can you please help.. I have the mixtrack pro, but i don’t like the layout for the virtual dj le version. When I access my virtual dj home, it says that my mixer can only be used for 10minutes.. How can I use the normal virtual dj home rather than the LE version?
You can totally play with this in smaller clubs right?
