i have the wire and vga connected to the side of my computer and green blue and red component wires in the “component in” section on the back of my HDTV. there is nothing coming on the tv though and everything just gets zoomed in on the laptop when i connect the vga to it. what should i do?

well im not shure of you can hook it to compenent wires but if u can u would have to buy a adapter check radio shack check ebay and the people at best buy

Every time I turn on the laptop, it makes a continuous beeping noise which goes through the loading screen then ends when the acer logo appears, which is about 1 minute. What is the problem? It wasn’t like this the day before and now every time it is turned on, this happens.

A continuous beep usually means there is a memory problem.

I have an Acer 5516 laptop. Out of nowhere the touchpad completely stopped working on it. The pointer doesn’t move, and both the left and right click buttons don’t work either. I have access to a USB mouse which works, but I really need the touchpad to work again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

lol, you disabled it. There should be a button that you can click (on the computer) that reenables it. It is either in the top middle of the keyboard (near the screen) or near the top of the trackpad.
