After almost 3 years of using a laptop as my main computing device, I finally got tired of its limited speed and processing power. So I decided to buy a new desktop computer to replace my old one, which I’ve had since 2002. It’s a piece of shit now.

I have a weird habit of giving names to inanimate objects and there’s no reason to stop now. New desktop computer, I dub thee Kate.

I have a Tablet PC. Is it possible to get that to work as an input device on a desktop computer? In other words, use the Tablet PC like a Wacom Tablet. Either wired somehow or wireless (such as with wifi) would be great.

No, the tablet pc is proprietary to itself. Therese no impute like that supported. No computers could work together like that.

Question by yavftm: Can I connect a top machine to a place theatre scheme when the machine has VGA and stereophony has s-picture?
I have a top computer with DVI, VGA and HDMI ports. My place theater is older and has only component, composite and s-video in. Any thought?

Get a convertor compatible with s-video for any unity of those media inputs.A good electronic store should sale ace.If money isn’t an issue make use of the full capableness of the HDMI.

It may depend on the make, but it will work well as a computer monitor.

I got my laptop hooked up to my LCD TV using an inexpensive VGA cable (same as the cable from your CPU to the computer monitor) to view my jpeg digital pictures. I could use the mouse to find my photo directories, veiw photos as a slide, etc.

When I hooked up the cable, I had the option of using the TV as the computer monitor or have both the laptop screen and the TV display on.

Question by sunny: How do I prevent windows messenger causing a problem when I start my computer?
When I have turned off and turn back on PC a window opens saying ” we’re sorry windows messenger has caused a problem and we need to close” Windows does not show in the remove programs area. I do have windows program running with msn, hot mail. How can I fix it? Thank you, Sunny

it all depends on how much you’re willing to spend. do you want surround? subwoofer?

In my opinion, The Logitech Z-5500 is one of the best, of course its nearly $ 300. The Logitech X-230 and X-530/540 is good for the price. Again, it all depends on how much you’re willing to spend
