Getting ready to install in-ceiling and outdoor speakers and driven by a Jamo AM4.6 system and a Squeezebox Duet. The AM4.6 is in my central hall closet, and will be connected to the keypad units by cat 5e cable. The sound is hardly audiophile-quality, but it will do for background music, and it saves hours on the tube amp.

I have a top computer with DVI, VGA and HDMI ports. My place theater is older and has only component, composite and s-video in. Any thought?

Get a convertor compatible with s-video for any unity of those media inputs.A good electronic store should sale ace.If money isn’t an issue make use of the full capableness of the HDMI.

I saw an infomercial for a home phone with a coiled cord that connects to your cell phone. You can hook in up and walk around looking like you are talking on an old home phone from the 90′s. I didn’t catch the name of the product though so I cant find it anywhere. Has anyone seen this thing and know what it is call // where I can purchase one?

So what’s the problem? If you have a receiver this would be the center of your system, and you would hook up the rest of your equipment to the receiver.
