(PRWEB) April 19, 2012

Technology expert Scott Steinberg recently spoke with NewsWatch with a look at some of the must-have technology products of 2012. He took a look at three different products that should be top of mind for any consumer. They ranged from Innovative Wall Outlets, to Portable Keyboards and Document Cameras.

The Power2U AC and USB wall outlet from Newer Technology was the first product highlighted by Scott. The Power2U Wall Outlet enables consumers to conveniently charge USB electronic devices right from their home outlets. It easily installs into a standard wall outlet box in 20 minutes or less and once installed it allows users to seamlessly charge up to four devices at once, two through standard three-prong outlets, and two through the Power2Us integrated USB ports using a standard USB charging cable. This home-safe and only UL-Listed product of its kind can be found online at newertech.com, and retails for $ 29.99.

Two new keyboards by Verbatim were the second technology product that Scott took a look at. Perfect for writing emails and documents on the go, these keyboards are must-haves for any travel enthusiast. The first is their Bluetooth Wireless Mobile Keyboard which folds for easy storage and is compatible with any Bluetooth enabled apple, android, or other product with keyboard support. The keyboard also comes with an iPhone stand that positions the phone in a perfect viewing position while a consumer types. Also available is the Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard. This rechargeable keyboard is as thin as a pencil and works with iPads, iPhones and other Bluetooth-enabled tablets. Both keyboards come with a media console for controlling a music library, smart keys for cut, copy, paste, and a portable carrying case. The Bluetooth Wireless Mobile Keyboard is available at Amazon.com, Radio Shack, and other participating retail stores for $ 79.99, while the Ultra-Slim Bluetooth keyboard is available at NewEgg for $ 54.99.

The HoverCam T3 Document Camera was the last innovative product Scott spoke with NewsWatch about. The HoverCam T3 replaces bulky, lower resolution document cameras. It is ultra portable, weighing justtwopounds, with a tiny footprint and it produces smooth, HD video images that are always in focus. In addition to being a presentation camera, consumers can use the T3′s scanning ability to digitize filing systems, archive and manage classwork, assignments, artwork, exams and even bills and receipts. The T3 comes with the HoverCam Flex software which makes managing scanned files and full screen presentations easier than ever. The HoverCam T3 includes a built-in microphone which allows a presenter to record both audio and video. As a final step, the presenter can upload these recorded videos to EverNote, DropBox, Picasa; almost everywhere on the cloud. For more information about the HoverCam T3 visit thehovercam.com.

Question by ,: How is is Nintendo able to so so well with inferior technology?
Now before the Wii fanboys go crazy this is not a diss. I’m not calling the Wii crap, but it is inferior to the other next-gen consoles based on hardware specs alone. I just think it is amazing how Nintendo is able to do so well year after year with what hardcore gamers consider to be gimmicks. I respect Nintendo for being masters at marketing their product year after year with a very high level of success. How are they able to do it in your opinion?Your Truth you are exactly right, but I am not thinking in terms of graphics alone. There are many hardcore Nintendo fans (myself included) that are not happy with the lack of games for the true Nintendo fan base. Nintendo has taped into the casual gamer market, but in turn has alienated the hardcore base to a certain extent. I understand their strategy though…..get money. I can’t knock that.

Best answer:

Answer by Your Truth
Because you are thinking about quality in terms of graphics. I will say this a million times and nobody will listen…GRAPHICS DO NOT MAKE THE GAME.. graphics are whip cream on the top… what really makes the games are gameplay and the ‘fun level’ nintendo rules at this and that is why they will be on top forever!!
